Oh dear, I’ll say it, I feel sorry for poor George. My feeling is he is being used.
All will be revealed when I read it!!
Looking forward to the end of the month 😉
I’d say something is sure going on, isn’t it? He’s not a bad guy, I don’t think. Just kind of silly.
I expect the Lady and her brother to cause the Darcy brothers problems, especially if George is involved. And now Bingley is looking for an estate… I expect Elizabeth will be back on the scene quicker than Fitzwilliam would like. Can’t wait for release day.
All that and more, Sarah! Thank you for stopping by. <3
Now this is a most intriguing plot twist! I think I shall have to invest in a Kindle copy of this. I really need to know what happens!
Right? The rakehell younger brother falling for a noble girl? Hmmm… I smell trouble!
Oh dear, I sense problems for Darcy! I think he may be right about George being used? I certainly hope Darcy and Elizabeth are together to deal with the fallout! Will there be high angst😱? Do I need to read with my eyes closed😌? Whatever, I know I definitely need to read!🥰📚🥰
“Do I need to read with my eyes closed?” 😂😂😂 What a great description of my own response to high angst!
Isn’t that awesome? 😀
No, it’s not high angst, Glynis. That’s my NEXT book! ;-P But there will definitely be some problems, that’s for sure!
I am having a hard time establishing in my mind that this George is not Wickham. Does he represent Wickham but in Georgiana’s stead? I’m thoroughly intrigued!
Let’s just say he’s got the Darcy principles a little, but he’s never had any responsibility and he’s not as grave of a person. He doesn’t ruin innocent girls, so don’t hate on him yet. He definitely needs some Big Brothering!
I was wondering the same!
Great beginning! It certainly pulled me in and made me want to read more.
Aw, thank you, Jan! I hope so. <3
I am looking forward to reading this as a finished story. Thanks for a chance to win.
Wahoo, I’m excited, Sheila!
Another fabulous chapter. It makes one wonder if Lord Belmont is interested in all, or part of, the Darcy lands. Happily anticipating reading this book. Congratulations on publishing a new story.
Ooh, interesting thought, Jeanette! Thank you!
Sounds like everyone has their own agenda. Looking forward to reading the rest!
Pretty much, Linda!
Loving these chapters, thanks for sharing them with us!
I’m so glad you stopped by, Darcy!
I can’t wait to red this!!! ~ Glory
<3! Thanks for stopping by, Glory!
Can’t wait to read it!
Author
It’s coming soon!
George is more useful and capable than what his brother perceives him to be. I can’t wait for Darcy to see that George’s feelings for Lady Lucilla are real. And if what George says about Lord Belmont welcoming towards him are real which makes me wonder what Lord Belmont sees in him.
