  1. Oh, Sarah, it´s so fun! I´m spanish but I managed to fill all the gaps except the following ones. I need help LOL
    -To snub someone?
-An underdress worn under Regency clothing?
-The currency often mentioned in Austen´s books
-A gentleman with a great natural modesty

    Thanks for the puzzle! 😉

To snub someone– starts with a sharp C
An underdress starts with a changeable S
The currency starts with a heavy P
The modest gentleman starts with a B, like Chandler from the TV show Friends

      1. I love the subtlety of these clues! Nice!

Lots of fun-a good add to my morning puzzle routine! The Advent Calendar is going to be fun, thanks to all the authors who are giving us this lovely treat!

(There is a mistake in one of the clues, #29 down. The pedantic pianist is not the youngest sister…)

Oops, you’re right! It was meant to say “younger” sister.

That was fun! Thank you for these Christmas season delights. That was a super easy crossword for Regency and Jane fans, but very hard for others.
