JAFF readers are the best! The Team JAFF fundraiser for hurricane relief has been a big success. Generous readers donated
$2253.20
for cameos and and for our Persuasion: Behind the Scenes e-book. I don’t have a figure for how much was raised by the thirteen authors who agreed to donate their royalties on certain books for the week since most authors prefer not to share sales figures, but the amount is
well over $1000
based on the few numbers I do know.
It’s great to see Team JAFF doing its bit to help the recovery from Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and now Maria. Jane Austen would be proud! While promotion for the fundraiser is officially over, you can still get Persuasion: Behind the Scenes for a $5 donation and there are still a few cameo opportunities left. Details here
Many thanks to all the readers who made this possible and to the authors who donated royalties and/or cameos: Maria Grace, Jack Caldwell, Abigail Reynolds, Melanie Stanford, Nicole Clarkston, Amy D’Orazio, Shannon Winslow, L.L. Diamond, Kara Louise, Monica Fairview, Susan Mason-Milks, Caitlin Williams, J. Dawn King, Elaine Owen, Robin Helm, Don Jacobson, Laura Hile, Christina Boyd and the authors in the upcoming anthology Dangerous to Know: Jane Austen’s Rakes and Gentlemen Rogues, Melanie Rachel, and Anngela Schroeder.

Thanks for all of your efforts and the update. The damage is so unbelievable and I’m happy the JAFF folks can help out this way. Jen Red
A big thank you to the authors for donating their time, talents and financial earnings towards a charity to benefit those who suffered in this disaster. Also a big thank you to all those who donated for the fundraiser sponsored by our lovely authors!!
I am sure all those who receive help are more than thankful!!!
awesome!!
That’s a very impressive number. Considering the need, for this small group to achieve this is wonderful. I know of many groups doing a share, and it will take us all together to address even the short term. Proud of everyone here. Thank you again Abigail.
I second MaryAnn Nagy’s comments.
