Allow Me to Tell You: Cover Reveal + Giveaway

Allow Me to Tell you Cover Reveal white page I’ve been waiting impatiently for my new full-length novel Allow Me to Tell You to be ready for release, and we’re finally there. I’m just waiting for final edits from my Beta readers to arrive, and then I’m be ready to press publish. 😀

Here’s the description for Allow Me to Tell You

When Fitzwilliam Darcy makes a complete mess of his proposal at Rosings Park by writing a letter, there is more at stake than his hurt pride. The letter starts off a chain of events that have an immediate impact on the people around him, including Elizabeth. And, adding insult to injury, Elizabeth is now threatened with ruin.

But Elizabeth will not be intimidated so easily. She insists Mr. Darcy is the last man in the world she would want to marry, and nothing will change her mind. To rescue her from an impossible situation, Colonel Fitzwilliam steps in, and asks for her hand in marriage.

Will it be an offer she cannot refuse, or will Mr. Darcy find a way to earn her love?

Allow Me to Tell You is a sweet Jane Austen variation. It is a light-hearted, full-length romantic comedy that follows our beloved couple Darcy and Elizabeth through the bumpy road of discovering each other.

To celebrate my cover reveal, I’m having a giveaway. I’m going to be sending out THREE e-book copies of my ARC to THREE lucky readers BEFORE the book is published. All you have to do is tell me something about my last non-magical variation, Longbourn Entanglement, and I’ll enter you into the draw.

Winners will be announced on Monday 17th on my Facebook page

Meanwhile, you can read excerpts from the book here.

And now for my newest cover:

Aww the cover is utterly charming! I love the colors!!
Elizabeth is swept up, against her better judgement, when Mrs. Bennet’s health or lack of it, is misunderstood. Mr. Bennet is away visiting an old friend, but things get complicated before he returns in the Darcy carriage.

Mrs Bennet becomes I’ll. Bingley snd Darcy postpone their leaving for London to be of help.

    1. And they’re not quite as helpful as they think… 🙂 Thank you for stopping by, Sharon.

Beautiful cover with cherry trees in bloom. I see this lovely woman more as Jane than Elizabeth due to her fair coloring, blue sash which would complement Jane’s blue eyes, but that’s certainly an author’s decision to make. Allow Me to Tell You is definitely on my wish list. I’ve read many of your novels and love each and every one. Thanks!

    1. That’s a good point, Meg. And it works, since Jane has a role to play in the novel.

Beautiful cover! I loved Longbourn Entaglement. It was funny—loved Lydia in that book. (I don’t want to give away too much of the plot!)

    1. Good thinking, Lisa. Better not to say too much. And thank you!

This definitely has its funny moments although not so much the scenes with Lady Catherine 😱 or Mr Collins 😱 ( although his obstinacy does rival that of Elizabeth……….and Jane????? 😉😉😉) Loved it!

    1. 😀 I wanted to call it Obstinate and Headstrong, but that one was taken. 😉 So glad you enjoyed it.

I am excited to read your new work and do love the beautiful cover. Your books never disappoint.
Something I never thought I would write, everyone is indebted to Lydia! Oh how her crazy mind works and I think it might be the first time she was useful. And Mrs. Bennett”s complaints and illness helps too!

    1. Ah, yes, Mrs. Bennet certainly gets things going! Thank you for your kind words, Jennifer!!

I don’t think that I have read a book where Lydia step up and wants to marry Mr. Collins. Wouldn’t she just make his life miserable. The books truly was a comedy of errors. Congratulations on your new book, and thank you for the giveaway.

    1. A comedy of errors indeed! And she would make his life miserable. 😉

Unfortunately I had by now not read Longbourn Entanglement but I just borrowed is via KU and read the first chapter. Mr. Darcy thinks a lot about different animals and poor Bingley has to get up very early after the Netherfield ball. I’m looking forward to continue reading this evening =)

    1. I’m really pleased you got a chance to read some of Longbourn Entanglement, Melanie!

Well, I remember one thing . Mr. Darcy was shopping for lace with Mrs. Philipps! I was laughing very much. She wanted to go to her sister, Mrs. Bernet who was sick or not so much, upstairs in her chamber while Mrs. Philipps was at Longbourn to chaperone the girls. Mr. Darcy did this for Elizabeth.

Gratulation for your new book! It’ easy to remember with the beautiful cover with the white gown and big blue ribbon on her back.

    1. Aha! You have a sharp memory. Yes, Darcy did it for Elizabeth. 🙂

Looking forward to the release day!

    1. Thanks Mihaela. I do love the ribbon, too.

This cover is gorgeous! I love the bright colors and the entire premise. An elopement is sure to bring much drama and excitement.

Longbourn Entanglement was such a fun, humorous read, especially with Mr Collins and his newfound popularity! 😂

    1. Thank you, Dara. No elopement but that’s a good idea, actually. Maybe one of my next ones. I love the idea of Collins’s newfound popularity!

The cover is so pretty! I enjoyed “A Longbourn Entanglement,” where Mrs. Bennet pretends to be ill, and Darcy and Bingley believe it, and they don’t leave for London. One thing leads to another until Jane and Elizabeth are in a difficult position. I haven’t read your magical versions, but I plan to at some point.

    1. Great summary, Jennie! Glad you liked the cover. 😉

  3. Stunningly beautiful cover.

    1. Thank you, Donna!

This sounds fabulous and the cover is gorgeous. I’m not usually a Lydia fan normally I just want to smack her. But she was fun in Entanglement. I love humor in a book. It’s a must 😉

    1. I love humor, too, Michelle. Great minds think alike. As for Lydia — well, she’s a bit of a brat in my latest Magic novel as well. But she was a ‘lark’ in Entanglement.

I remember laughing out loud at A Longbourn Entanglement and then not being able to use any of my favorite quotes in my review at Austenprose for fear of spoilers! It was such a witty yet somber yet beautiful love story.

I like the vibrant colors in this cover for Allow Me to Tell You!

    1. That’s a tough one, Katie. It’s always a fine line between revealing too much and saying enough. Reviewers have a tough time with that.

Thank you for your kind words, Katie. Much appreciated.

    1. Laughed out loud at your description, Patricia!! Thank you!
