Happy 2021! After a long, hard year, the Austen Variations authors are ready to celebrate our fantastic JAFF community. Want some nice, safe Austenesque fun? Join us on January 9-10 for JAFF in January, a chance for JAFF readers and writers to hang out together virtually. Enjoy special talks, readings, watch parties, a mini-play, and even a JAFF game show! There’ll be chat breakouts, small group opportunities to visit with authors and fellow JAFF lovers, and talk about our favorite characters and books. It’s FREE, open to all Austen lovers, come-as-you-are, from our homes to yours!
This will be a live-only Zoom event, rather than remaining on YouTube for later viewing, so please mark your calendars and help us have a great community event to start the New Year. We especially want to meet you in our small group chats and discussions!
Here’s the schedule. All times are ET (US). To get the link to participate via Zoom, please sign up for the Austen Variations Newsletter.

My pleasure! I’m looking forward to it. I love chatting with JAFF folks!
sounds like fun!
Happy New Year to you all!
The time schedule is 6 hours minus to the time in germany, is it right?
I’ll try to get online.
How can I connect with you in the schedule you offered ?
Author
Yes, it’ll be six hours later in Germany, so we’re in the evening in Europe, afternoon in Eastern US, and morning in Western US. Wish we could find a way to make Australia work, too! As for connecting with us, we’ll be taking questions and having discussions with readers in all the programming, and the chats will be assigned randomly, with some effort to make sure that our authors are spread out so that everyone has a chance to meet some of them. Hope to meet you there!
I am asolutely looking forward to it, afterall, it is because of reading one of your books that I have become a devoted JAFF reader. Thank you, Abigail, thank you!!

Thanks, Linda! I’m so glad one of my books led you to the wonderful world of JAFF. Where would we be without it?
Can’t wait!
So excited to see this again! I’m looking forward to joining you all…may need to pop in and out though. Happy New Year!
Excited to be doing a live Preview reading of The next in Jane Austen’s Dragons! Definitely one of my very favorite projects I’ve ever worked on!
I am so looking forward to this. Especially in the midst of current chaos I need something light, fun, interesting and relaxing. This will be such a gift! Perfect timing.
I loved JAFF in June and the Reader/Writer get together so I’m looking forward to this one, too. Boy this came up quickly-for me that is. Well, start the year out right, correct?
There are a lot of events, that’s a lot of work coordinating. Kudos, Abigail.
