L.L. Diamond is more commonly known as Leslie to her friends and Mom to her three kids. A native of Louisiana, she spent the majority of her life living within an hour of New Orleans before following her husband all over as a military wife.
After watching Sense and Sensibility with her mother, Leslie became a fan of Jane Austen, reading her collected works over the next few years. Pride and Prejudice stood out as a favourite and has dominated her writing since finding Jane Austen Fan Fiction.
Aside from mother and writer, Leslie considers herself a perpetual student. She has degrees in biology and studio art, but will devour any subject of interest simply for the knowledge. As an artist, her concentration is in graphic design, but watercolour is her medium of choice with one of her watercolours featured on the cover of her second book, A Matter of Chance. She coaches swimming and holds a variety of fitness certifications. She is also a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America. Leslie also plays flute and piano, but much like Elizabeth Bennet, she is always in need of practice!

Congratulations on another wonderful variation! I loved Hope and Agony even though I lost sleep because of it being a “couldn’t put down “ novel 😉. I would love to enjoy it again as an audiobook version so I can enjoy it while walking the dog and other times when I cannot read a book on my Kindle (though at times I’ve been known to read a book while walking as happened with Hope and Agony and only glancing every now and then to make sure that I’m not bumping into anything or that no aggressive dogs are approaching to make it necessary to tempt my dog forward with a treat). If I should win, the US Audible code would be needed. Have a wonderful summer!
Congratulations Leslie! I do love excerpts from this book! So far I do not have audiobooks as I definitely prefer to read at my own speed, rereading passages as I go! Therefore please don’t enter me in the giveaway and I can certainly understand why paperbacks are limited to the US, I regularly send stuff (including my grandsons’ favourite breakfast cereal!) to Australia! All I can say about the cost is that it’s a good job I love them so much!

The postal service has been hurting here so rates have gone up and I’ve been told they’re going up again. Things I normally would’ve sent myself, I’m ordering from overseas Amazons for friends. I made the mistake of ordering a gift from the Amazon here because of how expensive it was on Amazon UK, but the cost to ship left that in the dust. I’ve definitely been looking for alternate avenues to send things. It’s just become very cost prohibitive.
I survived it! Still have a bit of wood to cut up from the tree, but not nearly as much as what there was originally!

We have favorites that we have on both ebook and paperback format because lugging them around for trips was just impractical. I just read the book. It’s amazing. I’d love to win an audiobook. I have accounts in US, UK and Germany. It doesn’t matter after loading the book down on my phone. I sew and quilt and love to hear the story again after reading because it is different if another person read the story. Loved the book and audiobook ‘Undoing’ so much.
