12 Days of Christmas, Day Nine by Nicole Clarkston

Welcome back to our Twelve Days of Christmas event! I’m hitting the dance floor today with nine Jane Austen ladies, but we have a twist. It’s Truth or Dance time, so help our ladies decide which would be the  most fun (or least awkward)!

You can check out the results after you take the survey. Don’t forget to leave a comment on the blog post for a chance to win an audiobook of your choice. Enjoy!

  1. A very fun quiz! Great idea!

I’m not sure what I answered as I’m not too familiar with some books (being obsessed with Darcy!)
Happy New Year to you and yours!
Please don’t enter me in the giveaway as I don’t have audio books.

Wow! Those were fun. I tried to pick fun answers even though some were rather difficult while others made me giggle. Thanks for this exercise of the brain this morning. Don’t include me in the giveaway. I don’t do audio. Good luck to all in the drawing. Happy New Year, Nicole. Blessings, my friend.

Such fun! I think it shows how a Regency lady might answer rather than a 21st century lady would! Thank you for the giveaway.

Cute! Although I kind of winced at a couple of them. I didn’t think Jane would like to do either one of those things. And I didn’t think Fanny was ever going to be brave enough to tell Mr. Bertram she was in love with Edmund. What really surprised me was that some of the percentages on one side versus the other were so high when I thought they ought to be zero. Everybody’s idea of ‘least awkward, or more fun’ is different I guess. Thanks for the smile today!

  2. This is so fun!! What a great Idea, Nicole!

The best part was comparing my answers to the rest! Though I loved the 100% on which Elizabeth should do!

That was a fun quiz, Nicole. What a surprise the answer to the final question got 100% in favour of Darcy! The rest of the questions, I was probably 50:50 in the majority:minority with my answers. Just can’t see Fanny telling Sir Thomas that during the vast majority of Mansfield Park, except maybe towards the very end. And who wouldn’t want to say that to Lucy Steele? Dancing in the dark with Captain Wentworth could mean an awful lot of different things, depending on how your mind works. A carriage ride with John Thorpe? I think I’d have to fake a maidenly swoon beforehand!

This is wonderful and the first time I’ve won so not sure how to respond with contact info. Thank you! I’m so excited but with the excellent choices, I’m not sure right now which one to choose! What a lovely dilemma😊😊

      1. Congratulations, Deborah! You can write to me at author@nicoleclarkston.com and I can send you your pick when you narrow it down. 😃

Congrats to both of the winners. Whichever of Nicole’s books you choose on audio, you’re in for a treat, especially if it’s one performed by Stevie Zimmerman. Her Darcy and Thornton voices are to die for!

Interesting Truth or Dare choices. I am late to the discussions as I had 2 cataract surgeries over the holidays and saved all these blogs. Amazed at the generous prizes – lovely of all the authors. Happy New Year.
