Dangerous Magic Book 2: Threads of Magic Cover Reveal and Giveaway

Today I’m thrilled to share the cover of my latest book, Threads of Magic. This is Book 2 of Dangerous Magic: A Pride and Prejudice Variation.  It’s been a long time coming, but I can now finally reveal that it will available for pre-order on December 25th! That should be an easy date to remember 😉

For those of you who have not yet read Dangerous Magic, I am giving away two free e-book copies to celebrate the new cover. Just leave a comment below stating that you’re interested in a copy.

Threads of Magic: A Pride and Prejudice Variation

In a magical Regency England, two powerful magicians strive to find a balance between love and duty as they confront enemies who might well be their closest friends.

Elizabeth Bennet may be a heroine, but by defying some of the most powerful mages in England, she has made enemies who will stop at nothing to embroil her in scandal.

So when she is accused of endangering the Royal Mages through her reckless actions, she no longer knows who to trust. Even the gentleman she loves is taking their side. It seems the only person who believes her is the captive French mage who is imprisoned in the cellar at Netherfield.

Meanwhile, Fitzwilliam Darcy is willing to fight to the death to defend Elizabeth, if only she would stop getting herself into trouble. Why does she always have to break the rules? And why does even her sister Jane cause him so many problems?

Join us in this magical Jane Austen Regency variation. Set mostly in Meryton, with familiar beloved characters from Pride and Prejudice, you will once again be enchanted by Elizabeth and Darcy’s struggle to find true love against the backdrop of England’s war with Napoleon.

Threads of Magic is Book 2 of Mr. Darcy’s Magic. It is a standalone novel without cliff-hangers, but it is best read as part of a series. The novel will be available for pre-order on December 25th.

Rating: sweet, with kisses and mild adult themes.

Monica Fairview

Monica is an author with nomadic tendencies who believes in drinking tea to Stay Calm. She has lived almost as many years in the USA as in the UK. Her favorite things to do are visiting historical sites here in the UK and snuggling up with a good book when it's raining. She dislikes zombies like the plague, and avoids them if at all possible.
Monica writes serious, comical and fantasy Pride and Prejudice Variations. Her most popular books are Fortune and Felicity (serious), the Dangerous Magic series (magical fantasy, also serious), and Longbourn Entanglement (comical novella). Which makes her mostly a serious writer, but she loves to laugh.
She lives with the delusional idea that her two cats are telepathic. Which they are.

    I love this cover, it’s totally magical! 😉🥰. I haven’t read the first one yet but I am looking forward to it. Is it just a two book series or will there be more?
    Elizabeth in trouble? No! I can’t believe Darcy believes in her wrongdoing? He loves her right? Ooooh how intriguing is this?

    1. Oh, Darcy definitely loves her. But sometimes things get complicated… The answer is — there is at least one more to come, Glynis, so you’ve got to get reading… 😉

    I read Dangerous Magic only on KU, so I’m definitely interested in a copy of my own!

    It’s one of the best P&P variations I’ve ever read. I just couldn’t put it down, but at the same time I didn’t want it to end. The characters, their individual types of magic as well as the whole fantasy universe felt so right, that I’ve been looking foward to as many sequels as possible ever since.

    I remembered liking the first book, but was hazy on the details. So I reloaded it into the Kindle and reread it. I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed it, and a perfect ending. Looking forward to getting the new one when it comes out.
