Sons of Pemberley release!

My newest book is here!!!

Tragedy. Love. Betrayal. Devotion. Secrets…

What if Lady Anne Darcy was alive to meet Elizabeth Bennet?

Pemberley has been the home of the Darcys for twelve generations. It has seen their loves, their losses, their triumphs and heartbreaks.

Spanning over 25 years and two generations, this family saga explores the life Fitzwilliam Darcy would have had if his mother had not died young and the friendships that made him the man we have come to love.

A sweeping tale of devotion and betrayal, this is an up-close view of the Darcys’ marriage, Fitzwilliam’s childhood, and the circumstances that formed their characters.

I am so excited to get this book baby out into the world! I wish I had a book club to discuss it with, because I feel like I know these characters and I want to talk about them! I also love this new cover. I feel like it’s more in-depth than previous covers, which suits a more in-depth book.

I am giving away one copy of my new book plus your choice of one other book from my catalog. Just comment to be entered!

This sounds amazing and you are correct… that is a fabulous cover. Put me in the pot for the drawing. I think I own your other books or have won them in your various stops along the blog tours. You are so generous. Blessings on the success of this variation. I love it when Lady Anne is still alive to add flavor to the lives of Darcy and Georgiana. Stay safe and healthy it’s nasty out there.

I love your stories and I’ve read most of the P&P variations multiple times. I resisted the temptation to read this one even though you generously posted it on the website since I want to read it without interruptions – I may have to save it for Christmas so I don’t need to mind a sleepless night 😊.

  2. I started reading the book today and am already being drawn in by the new characters as well as those who were barely mentioned or died prior to cannon (e.g., Lady Anne, Samuel Wickham). I can’t wait for the audiobook as well as I love Elizabeth Grace’s talent!

I like the idea of a book club. A couple of my JAFF soul sisters and I did a Zoom with another author awhile back, and it was awesome! We were so excited to discuss our favorite book of hers and delve deeper s into her writing process and characters 😄

I’m just learning about your books, having first heard that you wrote comedies – or is that only “The 26th of November”? Are your P&P Vagueries separate from each other or sequential? Does this include Georgiana and/or Wickham? What a lovely idea for a story!

      • Elizabeth Adams on December 1, 2020 at 12:15 pm
      • Reply

I would say I primarily write comedy and secondly romance and family drama, but all of my books have more going on in the background than appears at first glance. 26th of November is my lightest book, I think.

My comedies have some seriousness in them, and my serious books have some comedy. When I wrote On Equal Ground, I thought it was so serious, but several people found a lot of comic relief in that. I knew there were funny parts, but I would have never called it a comedy. I guess I can’t help it…

This particular book has a lot of serious stuff, but also a lot of humor. It is two timelines. The 1811 timeline is quite funny and designed to be a lighter foil to the heavier 1700s timeline, which has all the feels.
