Like most of the world, we’ve been feeling heart-heavy over the tragedy in Ukraine, even more so as Elizabeth Adams, one of our authors, lived in Ukraine and is married to a Ukrainian. We want to do what we can to help out, so we’re turning to you, our beloved readers, to help us raise money for humanitarian relief. Ever wish you could be a character in one of our books? Make a donation, and you can be. Books to read? A raffle? We’ve got it all for you, both here and at the Facebook JAFF Loves Ukraine page.

Here’s how it works – you donate to humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and we give you cool things for Jane Austen lovers! Here are some of your options (and we’ll be adding more later):
1. Get a cameo appearance in one of our books! These authors will name a character after you in an upcoming book. First come, first served, so claim your cameo in the comments! One per author unless stated otherwise. We may be adding to this list as we reach more of our authors. Please note: Not all names can work in all stories, so please confirm your name with your author before payment! Details below.

How does it work for cameos? Claim the item you want in the comments, and once the author has confirmed you’re the recipient (authors must confirm your name can work in their book), make a donation to one of the selected charities* and send a copy of your receipt to the author.
How does the raffle work? To enter, please send a receipt or screen cap of your donation to littorine (at) gmail.com by 7am ET on March 10, and we’ll take it from there. Yes, earlier donations count! All your information will remain private. Yes, we realize this isn’t an efficient way to do it, but we’re much better at writing than fundraising!

Hello, you’re all amazing! It’s a lot of help coming already from you for different reasons. We have a call for donation in TV. It is in combination with UNICEF and DRK (German Red Cross), they help already some organisations in the Ukraine. I donate my funds to them. You write new books!? That is pretty good! I think I have all books. I’m waiting for new audiobooks, maybe from Elizabeth Adams: How to fall in love… , for to hear along my work and when I embroider on my machine.
But you are using the US Homepage. I can only buy ebooks in Germany and audiobooks in Germany or UK. They don’t work together. I love to read your stories. It calms me.
I hope we can help the people, who are in need because one person lives in the past.
