Cover Reveal: Fortune and Felicity

Well, we all knew this day was coming. I won’t be posting a new chapter this week. Instead, I have some great news for you.

Fortune & Felicity is now available for Pre-order on Amazon here!!!

And I’m having a pre-release special sale price for $2.99, which will last until publication day.

I’m also very excited to share the new cover with you. I hope you like it!

HFortune & Felicity by Monica Fairviewere’s the book description:

In this Pride & Prejudice variation, Elizabeth and Darcy have a second chance to get things right. Will they be able to come together this time, or will pride intervene yet again?

Seven years after Darcy’s disastrous proposal, Darcy is in need, not of a wife, but of a governess for his young daughter. Imagine his surprise when he discovers Elizabeth Bennet on the list of possible candidates provided by the employment agency. The question is, should he take her on as a governess, or would he be playing with fire?

Elizabeth Bennet is forced by her reduced circumstances to take on a position. However, when Mr. Darcy invites her for an interview, she is embarrassed and humiliated. How could she possibly live under the same roof as the man she had rejected so strongly seven years ago?

Whatever decision she makes, there will be a high price to pay… one way or the other.

Meanwhile, if you haven’t read the first few chapters yet, you can head over to Austen Variations to get a preview, starting with the Prologue, which is crucial.

I’ve really enjoyed our wonderful interactions in the past few weeks. I’m going to miss them. But I’m getting all geared up for my blog tour, which starts on April 10th at My Jane Austen Club and goes on until May 12th, so more than a month in which you can read excerpts, see interviews and reviews! I hope you’ll stop by and say hello along the way. I’ll be posting links for the blog tour in my next post.

And I’m still looking forward to hearing your thoughts — once you’ve finished reading the novel. 😉

You can pre-order Fortune and Felicity from Amazon here

Love the cover! As you know Monica I wasn’t very enamoured with the storyline when I first read Darcy’s reaction after Elizabeth refused his proposal at Hunsford, however I’ve read the chapters posted and am more and more intrigued!
I look forward to reading the rest!

    1. Hello, Glynis, I know ! One shouldn’t judge a book by its prologue, *wink, wink!

I’ve looked forward to reading your funny comments, Mrs. Bennet!

Playing with fire indeed!! I am looking forward to the sparks flying! Great cover and captures the sadness that Elizabeth must be experiencing. I am torn between ordering the e-book or the paperback! I would get the e-book sooner! When would the paperback be available…appx.

    1. Hi Carole, yes, I did want a touch of melancholy there, so it’s great you picked it up. Thank you for all your comments. 🙂

    Hello,

the cover is very nice. I like to read how Darcy and Elizabeth are after 7 years
    in different circumstances.
Is he more open and friendly, is Elizabeth as sassy as ever?

Do you know if the book will be published in Germany?

  1. I’m glad you liked it, Simone.

Yes, the book is on Amazon Deutschland. I hope you enjoy it!
