A Double Audiobook Release

Now Available on Audiobook– A Short Period of Exquisite Felicity and The Mysteries of Pemberley

Hey readers! I am thrilled to announce the release of not one but two audiobooks today!

A Short Period of Exquisite Felicity has been in the queue with narrator extraordinaire Harry Frost for some time. I can still remember asking him to do it and him warning me it could be almost a year until it was ready. I chose to wait because I knew he was worth it! And once you have a listen to this end product I think you’ll agree he was well worth the wait!

For The Mysteries of Pemberley, I turned to new-to-me narrator Brady Smith. Brady has an awesome podcast called Another World Audiobooks and has a rich, deep-tone to his voice that makes him ideal for not only Darcy but my second-favorite guy (shh don’t tell him) Viscount Saye. I hope you’ll give it a listen!

Please leave me a comment below! I will draw from the comments to give some lucky folks audible codes for both books!

How wonderful, I can’t hear high tones. For me it’s easier to listen to voice of men.
Thank you for the possibility to win one audiobook.

    Have a nice day!

    1. I definitely find Brady and Harry easy on the ears! Thanks Simone!

    I’m totally jealous!
Audible doesn’t “work” for writers located in Greece and listening to these samples…
I had listened to books narrated by Harry Frost but now I’ve made a new discovery: Brady Smith’s voice is my favorite!
    Great choice!!!
I have both books but the chance to listen to Mysteries of Pemberley…
Good luck with the new releases.

    1. Oh so sorry to hear that! Hopefully Audible will work it out in Greece soon! And agree, Brady is a very talented guy! He has a podcast of his own where he reads a lot of classic books — give it a listen, it’s free! (Another World Audiobooks)

So excited that Harry Frost is narrating your book. He breathes life into Fitzwilliam Darcy. I’ve fallen in love with books I previously shrugged my shoulders about just because of his narration of them. So – what a treat to listen to a favorite author’s book read by a favorite narrator. Like having my cake and eating it too!

    1. Totally agree! I would actually listen to Harry read about anything!

    Hi Amy!

I purchased A Short Period from Audible just yesterday and put Mysteries on my wish list. (Have read both as you posted on AHA). I also just finished (at 1:00am this morning) a relisten to The Best Part of Love. Needless to say I’m a big fan of your writing and love your stories.

Congratulations! The Mysteries of Pemberley is a favorite and Brady’s accent and voice are divine. I’m excited to hear his Darcy! I’ve not worked up nerve to read A Short Period of Exquisite Felicity and it’s been on my TBR pile with a high angst mood warning lol. The audio sample just proved I’ve been missing out big time. It sounds amazing – and Harry does too! Thank you for the generous chance to enjoy both!

    1. Thanks Deborah!

Double release! So make that double excitement, double congratulations. When I saw this email, my heart just jumped in excitement. And to find that Harry Frost is narrating Felicity, and we get a new awesome male voice for Mysteries… I want, I want, I want! I finished reading Mysteries a couple days ago and it is so fantastic, I am so glad you published it! Having read it online in chapters posted (waaaay too far apart!) here, it was just too amazing to not publish it! Congratulations again, I hope these released find huge success for you. Continued blessings on your future endeavors.

    1. Thank you Michelle!

I don’t read audio books regularly as I have so many e-books already downloaded from KU. However when I do get one as a gift or win one in a raffle I enjoy them during walks I take daily. Best wishes on these releases.
