It’s Monday (day 4 after release) and I’m celebrating The Princess Problem with an audiobook code drop!
Want to listen? Comment on this post with the phrase “PRINCESS AUDIO” and tell me: if you were offered a title, would you take it ?
I’ll pick two winners at random, so be sure to enter by Friday the 20th.
(Codes are US/UK, availability may vary.)
A sceptical hero. A royally complicated situation. One very inconvenient spark.
Elizabeth Bennet has always known her father was a prince. She just never expected it to matter. Living quietly in Hertfordshire with her mother’s family, her royal blood is little more than an odd detail—until just after her eighteenth birthday, when an envoy from the Thurnian court arrives with an invitation: her grandfather the king wishes to welcome her into the royal family.
Miles away in Derbyshire, Fitzwilliam Darcy faces pressure of his own. His uncle the earl is determined Darcy should reclaim a title stripped from the family centuries ago. But Darcy has seen enough of aristocratic life to know it’s not the glittering dream people imagine. He values his independence too much to trade it for a name.
Then a winter storm strands him at a remote inn with a young woman claiming to be a Thurnian princess.
The problem is, Darcy knows Thurnia has no princesses—so either she’s lying, or someone else is.
As their uneasy journey continues and her chaperone’s behaviour grows increasingly strange, Darcy begins to suspect the “princess” is hiding more than a fanciful tale—and that uncovering the truth may be dangerous.
What begins as a chance encounter in a snowbound inn becomes a journey where treachery forces courage into the light, and where nobility turns out to be something no title can ever bestow.
HAPPY READING AND LISTENING!

“PRINCESS AUDIO”
If I was offered a copy I’d absolutely take it 🩷 your books!!
Congratulations on another lovely book – I have read it, loved it and reviewed it. Like Mr Darcy I would be reluctant to accept, as it could mean more hassle and responsibilities. So if I could have the title and the benefits but no strings attached, then, maybe yes! Bx
PRINCESS AUDIO.
I would have to investigate the pros and cons first. What would it mean for me and my family? Would we have to move? What about any extra publicity? What would our duties be? Would we have to call ourselves “we”? 😉
PRINCESS AUDIO
I don’t think I’d want a title. Especially these days, it probably exposes the holder to more liabilities and dangers than benefits. There’s value in living in obscurity!
Princess Audio
I would accept a title if it was to a kingdom like Thurnia. It would be worth it to have Prince Adrian as a relative. ☺️
I’m not entering the draw as I don’t have audiobooks. I absolutely loved this book. Darcy didn’t believe Elizabeth was a princess but he was obviously attracted to her, Elizabeth was annoyed at his doubts but was still intrigued. The bonus epilogue was perfect ❤️❤️❤️❤️. I wouldn’t like the constant interference with having a title so I’ll stay as I am thank you.

PRINCESS AUDIO
Uhh, I think I would pass on a title. I imagine that all the responsibility would make me anxious. Well, the other scenario is I’d become totally power-drunk!
I have started reading this variation. The audio would seen to be a great story to accompany me on my morning walks as the weather is warming up. I can see me not wanting to quit listening so end up walking for miles.
PRINCESS AUDIO
I would probably pass on a title. There would be too many restrictions and responsibilities.
I rarely listen to audio books. Although I do have the real P&P on my phone to get me through sleepless nights. 🙂 This sounds like a fun story to get me hooked on audio.
Princess audio
Hard pass on the title..
Princess Audio and, yes, I would love to have an audio code. I’m curious to find out what the mystery is.
Princess Audio. I would love to have a code as I listen to P&P variations alot. I would be honoured to receive a title but suspect at 65 I’m too old to welcome it’s privileges!
Princess audio
Wow, hard to decide if I’d like a title. I think it all depends upon specifics. If it came with a loving family and not a lot of limelight/high society obligations I might be talked into it.
I already have this in Kndle format and started reading it last week. So far I am enjoying it as I wait to see what happens to Elizabeth when she gets to the royal court. I think she may have encountered Darcy on the way but must wait to see. Elizabeth with good reason is apprehensive about her new. position and the callous way the accaompaniers treat others.I guess it will not matter if I get the ebook since I already have. I am loving it so far.
Princess audio – I wouldnt want a title! Too many problems, scrutiny, and fascination, etc, for my tastes!
This storyline sounds so interesting! I look forward to reading!!!
PRINCESS AUDIO
I would defiantly listen to this audio book.

Cyndi, you are a winner! Please reach out to me at melanierachel.author@gmail.com for your Audible Code!
My first search is for the author’s name, so you got me there. Then I verify it’s a P&P variation. Point 2. And the catchy title encourages me to check out the storyline.
That’s three for three.
Princess Audio
I would gladly listen to the audio version – thank you for the possibility 🙏
Best wishes
Doris
Princess Audio
I’m not sure about a title, it would probably depend on what good I could do with it.
I have to say I loved the Princess Problem. Somehow you book always make it into my Favourites folder.
Thank you for such excellent stories and writing.
Lynn
PRINCESS AUDIO
I don’t think I would want the hassle that comes with a title, so I would decline it.
PRINCESS AUDIO
I do not think I would want a title, but I would get all the information before ruling it out.
Your new book sounds good! I hope to read or listen to it soon.
PRINCESS AUDIO
I would not want a title.
Princess Audio. I’m not sure I would accept a title given to me. It would depend on the expectations. Some titles come with huge demands that may not be worth accepting. This snow-bound story sounds wonderful. –Leslie
PRINCESS AUDIO
Yes, I would want a title. My life is too boring right now, haha.
I’d love a US code. Thank you!
I’m curious. I would like a US code to listen to it. Thank you.

Kelley, contact me at melanierachel.author@gmail.com for your code!
Princess Audio (US)
I would only want a title of a small estate in an obscure area of the world that the paparazzi hasn’t heard of yet. 😉
PRINCESS AUDIO (US code)
I would only want a title if it did not come with extra responsibilities or restrictions.
Princess Audio (UK). No I would certainly not want a title. In my country they were abolished anyway so you cannot use them (i.e. they are meaningless).
Okay, everyone! Thanks for posting! I will be announcing the winner sometime today here in the comments!
