Elizabeth Grace: Actor, Voice Actor, Narrator Extraordinaire!

I’m excited to announce the upcoming audiobook release of my 2016 P&P variation A Remedy Against Sin, read by the amazing Elizabeth Grace!
I wrote this novel over a decade ago, when JAFF was well on its way as a genre but wasn’t being published as frequently on Amazon (or other sites). I was especially intrigued by the “forced marriage” or “early marriage” scenario.
The more I read, the more I wondered: how would Darcy and Elizabeth manage the confusing aspects of marriage, particularly when they weren’t well acquainted? When I wrote the novel, I had been married quite happily for fourteen years, and still there were days when my dear husband and I weren’t the best communicators. What would it be like for Elizabeth and Darcy, who didn’t know each other well, but who were both very attracted to the other?
There have been so many great explorations of the early marriage trope before and after my version, so I know you have a number of wonderful options available to you. Still, I hope you will enjoy my contribution to the genre — and I know you’ll love Elizabeth Grace’s amazing voice acting!

I’ve been a fan of Jane Austen for decades, but it was the start of the pandemic when I came across JAFF. Since then, I’ve listened to literally hundreds of books. (My eyes are on a screen all day, so I prefer to listen.) And, yes — Elizabeth Grace gives outstanding performances! Love her style of storytelling! 😍

I, too, love Elizabeth Grace’s work and feel really fortunate to have worked with her…twice now! (She also narrated Seasons of Waiting.) I’m so impressed with her ability to create different voices and convey emotion subtly.

Well thank you, and I have loved JA since I was a little girl, but I guess when I became a JAFF was when I first watched the Sanditon series, and then read the fragment from her unfinished last novel, the original The Three Brothers; but now I think on it I was probably starting to find out all out fanfic when I first watched the 1995 series of P&P. 😊

I started my JAFF as audiobooks after I had my second baby. I was up late, but could not have the tv on due to volume and brightness. Books were difficult to hold since I often had my hands full, so I began listening to audiobooks. The familiar characters and historical context were perfect for my tired brain to focus on while being entertained by a whole new storyline. I love Elizabeth Grace’s narrations, and can’t wait for this one!
I would love a US credit if I am so lucky.

Monica, what a perfect way to handle being up late with a little one! I remembering trying to read while nursing my daughter many years ago. I always failed…unless I was holding my little phone at the time, squinting down at a JAFF fanfic!

I first read P&P about 1962. How’s that for ancient. In fact I was ecstatic when I discovered JAFF, perhaps earlier than you published A Remedy Against Sin in 2026. Unfortunately I didn’t discover the book until I searched for everything you wrote and purchased it in 2021.

USA, please. A friend introduced me to Jane Austen. I wanted more. Was thrilled to discover JAFF, but don’t remember exactly how I came across it. I might have found one at Borders and went looking for more. It’s my favorite comfort reading.

I started reading JAFF a couple of years ago and am really enjoying it. Right now I wait for wed letters to complete PnP and also love the Create your own adventures on Saturdays. Both of them allow me an escape from my work.

I live here in the U.S. and have been reading P&P variations for so long I can’t remember when I started…at first with several fan fiction sites. I started reading JAFF about 2 years ago, and then I couldn’t get enough!! P&P (2005) is one of my favorite movies and I rewatch regularly. I had been listening to P&P (as read by Elizabeth Grace, who is AWESOME!) to go to sleep. I think I listened through about 7 times before I moved on. But I needed more! That’s when I discovered JAFF for the first time. I’d love the US version, please.

I started reading JAFF about 4 years ago, when the political images on social media became too much to handle before bed. The books really calmed me, like visiting with old friends every day. I’m over 200 books in now and last year, also picked up Audible so I can listen to JAFF while I paint. I remember this book and can’t wait to listen to the version.

So enjoy this trope and have read this specific book a couple of times. Always thought there would be as much of a story after Darcy & Elizabeth’s marriage as before.You are one of my must read authors. I am reading in the US and have been reading JAFF for 7+ years. I discovered JAFF about 2 years ago. My daughter was homeschooled (she graduated now) and for one of her classes we decided to do literary vs cinema. Pride and Prejudice was one of the books we chose. When doing further research about P&P things, we found this site and have been loving the variations ever since!

I discovered JAFF in college as an online fanfiction thing, then discovered it was a published genre when my favorite story was pulled for publication! I think it was a Jann Rowland book. “A Remedy Against Sin” was actually one of the first published works I read, as it was released around this same time. Then I got a long commute, discovered audiobooks, and the rest is history!

Thank you for the opportunity! I would need a UK code. I started reading JAFF last year, even though I have been a lifelong fan of Jane Austen. When I reread Pride and Prejudice last year, somehow it felt too short, I did not want to leave the characters. I found the JAFF group on reddit and started reading the books recommended there. Remedy against sin is an excellent book, it would be great to listen to it as an audiobook.
