Wow! Our Austenesque community is so amazing!!! Between 35 authors and hundreds of readers, we’ve already raised over $7000 $8000 $9000 for humanitarian aid to Ukraine on our original fundraiser post! Give yourselves a big hand!
But the need is far too great to rest on our laurels, so our authors have pulled out even more rewards for donations!
NEW ITEMS:
Special offer: For a separate $40 donation, get a hand-knitted Jane Austen mouse from Cass Grafton (available internationally). This is a super-special opportunity, and there’s only 2 available, so claim it quickly! Here’s a picture of the one she gave me for my birthday. It’s totally adorable, complete with knitted book! Congratulations!
To not only meet the goal but to have exceeded it is just so beautiful. To see so many people speaking out and helping is a wonderful gift. Hope is priceless 💜

I agree! I’m so proud of our JAFF community – the authors for all their support and the readers for coming through with so many donations!
I’m just a reader, but I am so very proud to be a part of this wonderful community of JAFF. My thanks to Abigail Reynolds et all for making so easy to contribute to this worthwhile cause. My heart breaks for the people of Ukraine.
I haven’t checked in for a few days on the progress of the donation goal. Wow, I’m so proud of my fellow JAFF readers, this community of writers and readers.
I’m following Elizabeth Adam’s Facebook posts. Ukraine is constantly on my mind and it’s so heartbreaking. It’s all so horrific, and if there’s any sliver of silver shining behind these dark clouds it has been the world’s response. At least the sane, good humanitarian responses.
And so selfishly, I hope I win the Jane Austen mouse, although I’ll be thrilled for whoever wins her. 😀 Thank you Austen Variations, and thank you fellow readers.

Thank you, Michelle! And the Jane Austen mouse isn’t part of the raffle – it’s available for a $40 donation. And well worth it – I adore mine!
I am looking to purchase a couple of books through Amazon where the royalties go towards helping Ukraine, is there a difference on how much is put towards the appeal if it is an eBook or a physical book? I think its brilliant what you are all doing and I am proud to be JAFF reader.

Thank you, Amelia! I’m so proud of this community right now that I could burst. In terms of the royalties, it’s a fairly similar amount for paperback or ebook, so go with whichever is best for you. And thanks for your support for the people of Ukraine!
Thank you I have just purchased an ebook from the list and sent the email proof of receipt to the email mentioned. Hope that is enough. Thank you
Well done to all of our wonderful authors and FF Readers! Thank you everyone for your effort, your time, your creativity, and your compassion. Hopefully, we will all continue to assist in every way we can as the people of the Ukraine continue to resist.
Great that you’ve raised so much! I’d like to claim a cameo in Cherith Boardman’s book. Though perhaps my mother’s name instead of my own.
