I’ve been working on a special project behind the scenes for the past couple of months, and I’m so excited to finally get to share it with you!
Have you ever wished you could listen to Jane Austen’s original Pride and Prejudice narrated by the phenomenal Stevie Zimmerman? Well, very soon, you’ll be able to do just that! 😊
I’m thrilled to announce that my Box Hill Books edition of Pride and Prejudice is coming out in audiobook, narrated by Stevie! 🎉
Many of you will already be very familiar with Stevie’s work. She has narrated countless Pride and Prejudice variations over the years—including several of my own books—and I’ve always thought it would be wonderful to hear her bring Austen’s original characters to life. So when I began thinking about producing an audiobook for my edition of Pride and Prejudice, there was really no question about who I hoped would narrate it. And I’m so happy she said yes!
The audiobook is the complete, unabridged text of Pride and Prejudice, with Stevie giving voice to Elizabeth, Darcy, the Bennets, Bingleys, Lady Catherine, Mr. Collins, and all the other characters we know and love.
The files have officially been submitted to Audible and are currently going through their final review process, so if all goes well, the audiobook should be available very soon. I’ll be sure to share the link once it’s live. 🎧

It’s been so much fun working with Stevie on this project. Proofing the audio files and hearing Austen’s original words brought to life by a voice so familiar to the JAFF community has really been a thrill. And I can’t wait for all of you to get to hear it, too!

Jennifer, This is so awesome. Stevie Zimmerman is my favorite narrator for JAFF and I would love to hear her read Pride and Prejudice. –Leslie
I am so looking forward to this. When I see an audio book narrated by the incomparable Stevie Zimmerman, it is an automatic purchase for me. I have many of her JAFF books, but hearing her reading the original would be the crown jewel of my collection.
I’ve never been quite satisfied by any audio book of P&P. There’s always something not quite right. So I’ll definitely try this one out to see if it finally satisfies!
