A big thank-you to everyone who has helped make the debut of Miss Georgiana Darcy of Pemberley a success! I’m thinking of beta readers, encouragers, people who pre-ordered the book, those who generously shared my announcements about it on social media, etc., and a few speed readers who have already logged in at Amazon with their 5-star reviews! JerryT, who finished the book in just one day, had this to say:
What an excellent read this is. It was an interesting experience to read “Darcys of Pemberley” from Georgiana’s point of view. This change in POV is much more than the retelling of the same story, it provides a whole new sequel to P&P. Like its predecessor it is written in an Austenesque style which is especially evident early on and carries through throughout the novel… I found the book to be a real page turner and sat down and read it straight through. If you enjoy reading P&P variations I highly recommend this novel.
Leaving a thoughtful, positive review like this is one of the nicest things you can do for an author, btw. Thank you, JerryT, wherever you are!
