Longbourn: Dragon Entail Ch 2 — 5 Comments

  1. Love this snippet from the new book, of course!! And we have to adore cheeky little April!

And I just want to slap Collins! Urgh, such an idiot! But then, Mr. Wickham is not an idiot which makes him all the more dangerous. Elizabeth, listen to the dragon whispering in your ear about the too-suave Mr. Wickham!!

Thank you for sharing more of this new story with us, Maria! I love it!! 😀

    Warmly,
    Susanne 🙂

  2. It is a three way tie on which male needs to be hit in the head with a 2 X 4: Collins, Wickham, or Mr Bennet. Maybe Longbourn need to invite Collins for dinner, as his main meal not as a guest. Who would know? At least it would be quiet. Love Aunt Gardiner, she always has thoughtful, insightful, cleverly disguised responses to give Elizabeth when her thinking gets scrambled and set before looking at the whole picture or before getting all the facts. Wrong decisions made in anger and haste seem to be Elizabeth’s forte. April is a hoot! Imagine Elizabeth’s future – Collins blithering at her 24/7 and April squawking in her ear. What a life! No wonder she’s testy.

  3. I did read this chapter on your other blog and enjoyed it and left a comment. I have read the first book and am anxiously waiting for the release of this second one. Wanting to know how ODC gets together and how the whole entail of Longbourn with its own dragon is settled. Thought it might be addressed in the one conversation but then the subject was dropped. Thanks for writing.

  4. I can’t wait! I almost threw my Kindle when the first book ended without a resolution. How long until this one is out? Thanks for sharing this great story. I love the entail being tied to the dragons. So much fun!

  5. So excited to come across your blog and see you are posting this story – I enjoyed Mr. Darcy’s Dragon and have been impatient for more.
