Launch Day for Longbourn: Dragon Entail — 30 Comments

  1. Poor Lizzy. Longbourn’s treatment of her is bad enough, but to be saddled with someone as stupid and dragon-deaf as Collins sounds like a fate worse than anything Longbourn do. I’m sorry to see Mr. Bennet is so rigid, but hope that Mr. Gardiner is able to do something for her. If anything, rules and laws should evolve with time to better serve both sides. I’ll be very interested to learn how there will be a HEA for ODC, if at all, given how things currently stand for Lizzy’s future.

  2. So excited for this book! This chapter is proof to me that Mary should marry Mr. Collins. Yes Lizzy should take Mary’s advice in some ways but Lizzy should not have to completely sacrifice who she is just to placate Longbourn, Mr. Collins and Mr. Bennet.

  3. Congratulations Maria. I love both covers. I think Mr Collins should focus on Mary as she seems able to manage him and also hears the dragons (that’s if he doesn’t come to an untimely end as he deserves!) Elizabeth should perhaps take note of Mary’s words and help Darcy with Pemberley as who knows where that will lead?????. Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. Wonderful news that it’s finally out! I haven’t been following the preview chapters as I wanted to savor the whole book together. I’m glad to see the beautiful cover too!

  5. I am with Agnes! It was very hard not to read all the chapters you published but I was waiting for the whole thing. I would love to win a copy of your new book because I can’t wait to read it!

  6. Hooray! Congratulations on the new release. I’ve definitely been waiting for this book, and winning an e- copy would be even better. Love the cover for both this and Pemberley 🙂

  7. I was so excited to see when this went live yesterday that I had to get it immediately and read it in every spare moment yesterday. (Yeah, I managed to finish it, much to the detriment of my Sunday dinner….) I had to leave a review on Amazon right away because it was just so good! I loved it! Now to endure the wait for the next one…

  8. I loved book one and thank you for the enticing excerpts from book 2! Congratulations on publishing!
Thanks for the opportunity to win a copy1

  9. Congratulations!!! So excited for this new release! Love the cover and Mary’s personality is definitely more suited for Mr. Collins if she can manage him so well.

  10. Congratulations!!!! I love the new cover for Pemberley and the cover for Longbourn!! Gorgeous!!! Yay!!!!!!

What a splendid day it is with the second book released at last!! Congratulations again!! 😀

    Warmly,
    Susanne 🙂

  11. Congratulations Maria on the release of Book 2. 🌹 Looks like Collins will always be himself. Poor Lizzy.
    Thanks for the giveaway. 🙂

  12. Congratulations, Mary is better suited for Mr Collins. If only something should happen to make Longborn and Mr. Bennet see that.

  13. Looking forward to reading this, I found the first book fascinating. As others have said, I think Mary is a better fit for Mr Collins and I am surprised her parents can’t see that. But that “Come to Jesus” conversation between Mary and Lizzy…that was great!…LOL…and just what Lizzy needed.

  14. I really love the idea in these stories. Thanks for sharing the installments with us. I would really enjoy reading both of these books. Thanks for the chance at the give away.

  15. Love the new cover designs for the series and Longbourn is a worthy successor to Pemberley. I’m very much looking forward to lart three.

For anyone who hasn’t read Pemberley yet, you should! P&P and Dragons works even better than zombies!

  16. Aha! So Mary provided Lizzy with her ‘Hunsford Moment’!
And she is learning to make it easy on herself. The cover is great and i cant wait to read it!

  17. Sorry for being late to the party. Congratulations on your latest release, Maria! Just wondering should I read Pemberley: Mr. Darcy’s Dragon before attempting Longbourn: Dragon’s Entail?
