Coming Attractions!

It seems like most fans of Jane Austen can never get enough Pride and Prejudice. Every time we create new scenes to add to the story, many of you say you still want more. So, if you’re one of those readers, have we got good news for you!

Over the next few months, we’ll be posting a series of completely new scenes we’re calling Pride and Prejudice: Behind the Scenes.

Some examples of what’s coming in the next few weeks include:

– Lizzy Reflects on the Meryton Assembly

– Jane Rides to Netherfield

– An Encounter at Netherfield

New scenes will be posted approximately twice a week over the summer and into September. We hope you’ll enjoy them!

This sounds amazing! I think all of us here are those readers that can’t get enough. I am really looking forward to reading those new scenes. Thank you to all the authors for this lovely gift because I will never say no to spending time with my favorite characters. My kindle is full of Austen variations and fan fic, and it always finds room for more.

    1. So glad you’re looking forward to our new project!

I do love the P&P variations (as I do the ones of Persuasion, although there are far fewer of them written). I have many books on my Kindle app that I’ve read and saved and still more yet to read. Thank you for the alert. I will be as anxious as any of the other Austen Variations readers waiting for these new scenes!

Terrific news! Always enjoy those little snippets that weren’t in the book.

Did anyone do the conversation between Lady C and Collins discussing Darcy’s so-called engagement to Lizzy? Did he get his head ripped off for delivering such shocking news?

How about the conversation Darcy had with Georgie after returning from the Inn at Lambton, both after first introducing Lizzy to Georgie and then again after returning and telling her he must leave Pemberley in the morning? Did you already do either of these in the first go-round?

We also know that Lizzy and Darcy walked for a very long time the day they got engaged. Jane and Bingley were home way before them. What did they talk about? What else did they do? 🙂

    Curious minds want to know!

Thank you all for doing these little extra bits of love of P&P. They are always delightful.

    1. Thanks for the suggestions! We’ll see what we can do.

  3. Yay! I know I’m one of those folks always bugging for more. Can’t wait!

  4. Yay!!!! Looking forward to the series with *great* anticipation!! 😀

    Warmly,
    Susanne 🙂
